Combining EPIC’s broad influence in the gaming industry and MYREZE’s advancements in virtual solutions has the potential for truly endless possibilities within the world of entertainment, and introduces the world to a vision for the future that knows no bounds. After all, “Doing The Impossible” is MYREZE’s motto for a reason.

EPIC Games is known for its expansive work within the field of entertainment with titles such as the hugely successful Fortnite and their industry leading game engine: UNREAL.

Their leading title: Fortnite, is a phenomena that has single-handedly revolutionised the gaming industry and goes through consistent weekly updates, using its skilled professionals to act as an ecosystem where talent is established, maintained and pushed to the forefront of its community. EPIC’s ability to adapt swiftly to the needs of their audience is a testament to EPIC’s impressive vision and hard work, so when EPIC asked MYREZE to form a creative partnership; they knew it would lead to impressive results.

After being approached at NAB 2019, Myreze was incredibly excited to begin a creative partnership with the talented visionaries at EPIC Games, and one they hoped would result in many revolutionary future collaborations.

The UNREAL Engine, which is developed by EPIC Games, is a versatile and powerful tool that has inspired Myreze to use it in the production of virtual reality experiences, helping to launch ordinary mediums of entertainment to new heights by implementing them into new, more exciting arenas.

Lost in Time

MYREZE’s extensive experience and established reputation for 3D modelling and virtual design was a key component in their partnership with EPIC and has resulted in groundbreaking projects like the creation of the world’s first IMR TV show; Lost in Time.

In collaboration with The Futuregroup, Lost in Time was developed using primarily the UNREAL Engine and utilised virtual solutions to its full potential. The live show followed the adventure of multiple contestants competing for prizes in a virtually simulated world complete with an accompanying mobile game that allowed viewers at home to compete alongside the participants in real-time.

Altibox Norway Chess Tournament

Following Lost in Time, MYREZE embarked on multiple real-time projects across the broadcast and entertainment industry. One of those was an incredible advancement in live sport production: The Altibox Norway Chess Tournament in collaboration with SmartSportz.

Altibox Norway Chess is the largest chess tournament in history with the previous championship receiving over 10 million viewers. Taking part in Stavanger, Norway, the competition involves the 10 best players in the world taking part in matches inside the Norway Chess Tower, a fully virtual structure where every segment takes place in multiple rooms which are tailored to fit each aspect of the event and is themed with sponsored branding.

Myreze’s creative partnership with EPIC Games has opened a new world of opportunity and using the UNREAL Engine, aim to challenge the standard of modern-day entertainment experiences.

“It is an honour for us to share our vision and goal with such an amazing company of incredible talents delivering such groundbreaking results to the entire industry.

We look forward to what the future holds.”
